Glucose syrup
Glucose syrup is produced of starch through enzymatic hydrolysis. The products are characterized by low viscosity, a faint sweet taste and are soluble in cold water. The DE-value is between 20 and 99.
Glucose syrup is synonymous with starch syrup.
Glucose syrup is the essential ingredient in sugar confectionery and is further used in ice-cream, jam/marmalade, beverages etc.
