Guargum
Guargum has different characteristics; depending on origin and degree of processing. Our supplier is processing all his qualities in Europe and can guarantee a steady level of quality. We are also able to supply an organic quality.
Guargum originates from the guar plant (Cyamopsis Tetragonolobus), which grows in the north western part of India and Pakistan. The seeds from the plant are ground and then they will go through a number of stages, from processing to ready product.
Is used as a thickener, above all in soups/creams, ice-cream, gluten free bread mixes etc.
