Tricalciumcitrate

Calcium citrate is supplied in powder. It is soluble in water, but unsoluble in alcohol.

Tricalcium citrate is the salt of citric acid, which is produced through fermentation of molasses or glucose. Is often called calcium citrate.

Is among other things, used to regulate the pH-value in a product, to control the gelling of pectine products, and in some cases it is used as a calcium source.
