Norfoods becomes a part of the Caldic group

The Norfoods group has been approached by Caldic BV with an offer to become a part of the bigger Caldic group. The owners of Norfoods deem this to be an opportunity for continued growth for Norfoods and we therefore have accepted the offer. Norfoods is now a part of the Caldic group!

Our assessment of Caldic as a perfect partner and fit for Norfoods is based on the following:

- Caldic is a family owned company with short decision-routes.
- Caldic is financially very strong.
- Caldic shares many of our basic values and business principles.
- Caldic has no business activity and no organisation yet, in the Nordic countries.
- Norfoods will become a large and important part of Caldic's food business.
- Caldic's subsidiaries are run very independently.

We foresee and hope that this change of ownership will only bring about potential benefits and further possibilities for our joint growth in the Nordic marketplace.
